Whenever possible, we plan a winter escape to at least temporarily get away from the gloomy weather in Germany. When it came to planning for 2025, my goal was to visit a destination I hadn’t been to before. Micha had already done the “Golden Triangle” tour seven years ago with a buddy, and since I had never been to Thailand, we decided to book the tour (again) – and it was definitely the right decision. There were many new impressions for Micha as well, and of course for me too.

We were very satisfied with the tour. It felt like vacation with friends, as if we had known each other for a long time. The gravel routes were easily to ride, and the paved roads were truly exciting and a lot of fun! I have no idea what motivated the road builders to design the roads this way, but it’s simply super cool. Yes, even with a 250cc Honda. It was more than enough to put a big grin on our faces every day. The stops were very diverse, and the accommodations were always good and well-maintained. Perfect for getting a (first) impression of the country and its people.

Many thanks to Walter and Steve for making our vacation such a wonderful experience. We are sure that this won’t be our last visit to Thailand.
