Day 1: Chiang Mai - Doi Inthanon Summit - Mae Chaem (via Basecamp)

- Head southwest to conquer Doi Inthanon, Thailand’s highest peak (2,565m)
- Tackle the winding roads and off-road trails leading to the summit, passing waterfalls and lush cloud forests
- Descend to Mae Chaem, a serene agricultural valley dotted with Karen and Hmong villages
- Overnight in a traditional guesthouse, enjoying home-cooked northern Thai dishes like gaeng hang lay, a Burmese-style pork curry
Day 2: Mae Chaem - Pai

- Arrive in Pai, a laid-back town famed for its hippie markets and hot springs
- Unwind with a dip in the Pai Canyon hot springs or explore the night market’s street food
Day 3: Pai - Wiang Haeng - Muang Khong - Chiang Dao
